 PROFESSIONALLY

A professional?
A not-so-serious smile on a SERIOUS professional.
There are a few things I take very seriously: my wife, my work and my morals (and religious convictions). I have never had an employer I did not get along with and although I am sure I have been lucky, I also think I am a person that is easy to work with and easy to put to work. I love working actually. Sometimes my wife has a hard time getting my attention because I get so envolved in my work (which includes schoolwork, freelance assigments and partime and fulltime jobs). I believe strongly in developing my work ethic and I am obsessed with developing my ability to handle all tasks, especially difficult ones.

 THE PORTALS

 PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION

There are many people who have sites comparable, if not better than this without any more reason than to make a presence on the web. I just thought it would be appropriate to briefly mention some of the things I do professionally on my site, since a lot of what I do IS web design, web development, programming and other freelance commission work. Right now (Aug 2008) I work as a web developer for Inetz Media Group. I have had many jobs programming. I have also had many smaller jobs in graphic design. I have been working as a freelance web designer for many years and I have been doing freelance illustration since I was 12. I often take on freelance design work but I can only take on a small amount at a time because I like to give fast results. I also work hard to develop my skills in programming. I have a BS in computer science. Because of my interests, I would say I have a strong grasp of information systems and graphic design but have the most expertise in web development.

What I do professionally:
I currently work fulltime as a web developer.
I design websites and web templates through freelance.
I develop websites and web projects through freelance.
 I illustrate.
I design logos, clipart, templates, and other vector graphics.

I have had many experiences in many different jobs, I enjoy trying new things. If a job is creatively challenging, then I am for it. It is hard for me to turn down an opportunity that will allow me to develop my creative skills.

Changing... 02 Jul 2008
I can remember thinking how it is such a shame how many people stop developing their creative talents after a while. I was not sure what causes this and I would sometimes wonder: Was it a wife? a real job? kids? or just time? ... I spend a lot of time on the internet because of my job. I enjoy my job, but I find myself doing more off of the computer in my free time. I have been happily married for many years now. I find my hobbies changing these days as I spend less of my freetime with creative projects. Most of my time goes to my wife; next is my house; and lastly my time is used for personal things which I now lump all my creative projects. I still love to do grapic design and illustration professionally or for freelance, friends, or even a contest, but drawing just for fun has become a rare occassion. I used to love to develop this and my other websites, but with 8 hours of web development a day at work, I find developing my own sites not as amusing. ... I guess I have had a change...
